CLAIRE FOLKMAN

Claire is an artist living and working in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. She is co-editor and publisher of the award-winning all-girl comic anthology, Dirty Diamonds, and co-host of the monthly cartoonist meet up, Philly Comix Jam. Her work was featured in the Eisner Award winning comic anthology, Drawing Power, from Abrams Books and she is a regular participant at indie comic expos and panel discussions across the country. Claire has a BFA in 2D Fine Art with a minor in Art History from Moore College of Art & Design and a Paraprofessional Certificate in Accounting from the Community College of Philadelphia.
