Introduction
Start here. BYO Print is a printmaking collaborative and community printshop for professional printmakers and occasional printers to pursue their own fine art practice amongst a group of like-minded individuals. We support your endeavors in intaglio, relief, screen print, lithography, and experiments. We share supplies and equipment, and grow and change with the needs of the artists here. Review what we keep around the shop, and inquire for more details if you seek them.
BYO Print is located on the third floor of an 1866 factory, repurposed into artist studios over 25 years ago - Sharktown Studios - at 155 Cecil B Moore Ave. Historically known as The Columbia Works, Sharktown Studios was added to Philadelphia’s Registry of Historic Places in 2019. Because of the age of the building and its mechanicals, there is no working elevator. If you cannot access our studio, get in touch, and we can help you figure out how and where to make prints.
