Reece farness
“I grew up drawing a lot, mostly influenced by sci fi books and video games. Back then games came with manuals and actual print game magazines were quite common, and I would copy characters out of them regularly. I then passed through a BFA in Graphic Design, an MFA in 2D Fine Art, and began tattooing straight out of grad school. I did some printmaking and a lot of mixed media along the way, and my work continues in that fashion still. I’ve absorbed some themes from tattooing and usually create small bodies of work around particular subjects, often still sci fi/fantasy or inspired by games.“ - Reece Farness
Reece is a co-founder of the tattoo studio, Pale Horse Tattoo, in the Kensington/Norris Square neighborhood of Philadelphia.
