Christiane Moore

Christiane is an artist and illustrator specializing in painting, printmaking and textile design. Influenced by a lifetime passion for nature and travel, Christiane's work explores flora and fauna imagery through mixed media, with a focus on watercolor, gouache and silkscreen. Her studio practice is fluid, shifting from the intricacy of painterly, many-layered screenprints; to whimsical, illustrative patterns created with a combination of gouache and Photoshop; to the organic ease of plein air watercolor sketches.

After a childhood spent outdoors in rural Central PA, Christiane completed her BFA in Printmaking at the Maryland Institute College of Art. She landed in Philadelphia shortly after graduation and joined BYO Print in 2013. She is currently the Senior Textile Designer and Art Director for Printfresh, a sleepwear/apparel brand that she helped create in 2018.
