Pilot Program: SECOND SUNDAYS Open Studios

Announcing the inaugural Drop-In Hours beginning this Sunday, April 13th. The printshop will be open to the public from 12 - 5 pm to visit us for a tour, to inquire about our Open Call, or to do some independent printing. As with any pilot program, we’re testing things out, so bear with us as we sort out rates, policies, and guidelines for printing with us during the Drop-In Hours. The etching presses, intaglio lab, and work tables for screenprinting will be available to use on a first come, first served basis. Screen processing is available with pre-arrangement. General guidelines:

BYO materials, including your matrix, inks, paper and newsprint. Printmakers working during the drop-in hours should be able to work independently after a brief introduction to the studio, where things are, etc. Monitors are not prepared to provide process instruction. (Get in touch ahead of time if you want to schedule one-on-one tutoring by appointment for an additional cost.)

The rate for printing is $12/hour, and is payable via cash, check, PayPal or Venmo before you leave. All printers will be required to sign a Liability Release before beginning work.
