Icebox Mall

For the duration of Collective Futures, Icebox Project Space becomes Icebox Mall. We have it all: Late hours (open till 9PM), a movie theatre (Errata Projects), a video rental store (VHS). Get your outfits ready for prom (FJORD) and go to a club revival (PEEP Projects). We may not have a DEB, Claire’s, or Hot Topic, but on Wednesdays, we have a food court (Salad Bar Wednesdays)! Free to enter. Loitering is encouraged.

Inspired by the mall as a third space, a commons of collective experience, where you had your first kiss or hung out with your friends after school, Icebox Mall reimagines the familiar architectures of social life for collaborative cultural exchange. 

Similar to the interdependent, yet separate nature of businesses within a mall, Icebox Mall operates as the container to bring together 11 different projects by Batikh Batikh, Fjord, BYO Printmaking Collaborative, Termite TV Collective, Biomaterials Working Group, FORTUNE, Da Vinci Art Alliance, errata projects, PEEP Projects, All Mutable, and Icebox Project Space.
